Step 4: on right side of clutch (if youre laying on your back looking up) in back there will be a connector. disconnect the 4 pin connector from the module. there Step 7: reconnect the harness into the module and start car to test. you will either not need to push the clutch in at all or flip your toggle switch/push...
Normally, you can start in gear if the clutch is pulled in. There is a switch on the clutch handle that looks after this. Could be out of adjustment, dirty, no good, etc. Give it a looksee. Post back with findings.
Oct 19, 2013 · How to Bypass/Test your Neutral Safety Switch Lately it seems members are haveing a spat of no Cranking problems with their starters. I was over snooping at another forum and found this Info that I have never read before concerning how to bypass/test your Neutral Safety Switch.
If that happens, the safety switch will not allow the ignition switch to start the truck. If you see any plastic on the Clutch safety switch fix: Go to the hardware store and buy a small 1/4" bolt or smaller with a 7/16 nut put Considering bypassing the switch, or at least keeping a spare in the glove box.
u can put a remote start on a manual. all u gotta do is bypass the clutch safety switch (which is right behind the clutch pedal, just stick ur head in there and look at the top of the clutch pedal and you'll see a push button switch there, bypass that and hook up one of your free channels to that and voila.) but i wouldn't recommend that because you might have it in gear and start your car and have it bouncing all over the place.

the neutral light is a just a tributary branch tapped off the neutral switch wire serving as a visual sensor/indicator, if you may. The neutral light does not provide a Ground for the neutral switch. In the Oem configuration, when the neutral switch doesn't have electricity flowing through it (in gear), the tributary (neutral light) is OFF or dark.
